Missouri Canoe Trip

"Missouri Canoe Trip", the highest destination in the nation for canoeing!...

The southern Missouri Canoe Trip region includes several great rivers, Bryant Creek, North Fork of the White River, Eleven Point River, Current River, Jacks Fork River, Spring River (Arkansas), among others.

The reasons for the popularity of Missouri for a canoe trip, the southern region commonly known as the Ozarks, or Ozark Mountain Region, includes several great paddling streams with gradient that totals from 4 feet per mile to 7 feet per mile. This gradient allows the river to move swiftly, at least between the pools, yet does not provide whitewater that most beginners can't do. Actually, with proper advise from your outfitter, most rivers with normal river levels will provide you with a fun lively trip.

Rivers for anyone, the waters run crystal clear during normal river levels, and provide great fishing for brown and rainbow trout both, many types of bass including white bass, hybrids, and black bass species. Bring your fishing pole if you like to fish. Out of state licences are affordable for a three day permit. Ask your outfitter.

Enjoy your Missouri Float Trip! We highly recommend it. See you on the river!
